To learn about methodology, read la section phpversion. 35.1 millions servers hosted on 2.1 millions IP were surveyed during September, and 13.3 were used for stats : domaines without web sites, those unreachable, ISP, shared hosters or domain parkings were not considered.

PHP 5.2.6 is the new leader, and 5.2.5 is also ranking #2 : PHP 4.4.8 just slipped 2 ranks and will not be replaced by PHP 4.4.9 until a long time.

PHP 5 reaches 45,12% of the whole PHP market, with an record swell of 3% since last month.
