PHP is found on 34,17% of web sites, stable from last month. PHP market share is stable. PHP is the most used technology on internet.
PHP version distribution[^]
This graphic displays the market share of each PHP version. The blue graph represents
the sum of all preceding versions. PHP 4.4.0 and beyond represent now 50% of all PHP installations. When a PHP application supports PHP 4.3.8 and better, they are functionnal on more than 80% of all PHP installations.
PHP major version distribution[^]
This graphic represents the PHP major version distributions : 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
PHP 5 almost reach the 12%. PHP 4 is declining. Besides PHP 4, all other major version is negligeable.
PHP 4/5 middle version distribution[^]
This graphic represents PHP middle version distribution for PHP 4 and 5.
PHP 4.4 finally take the lead in October, outranking PHP 4.3. PHP 5.1 has now a solid advance as 3rd most popular version, but is still far behing PHP 4.3. PHP 4.3, 4.4 and 5.1 hold 90% of the PHP market.
